ATL's Hot Sauce putting the Boomerang on you - a move where he seemingly
passes the ball, but it boomerangs back into his hands after release, leaving
his opponent doing a 360 in disbelief. With signature moves galore, 'Sauce
slaps a Dirty South spin on the game and credits his on-court miracle ballin'
to "hard work, practice and determination."
One of his teammates is North Philly native A-O (Aaron Owens). The shy
skinny kid gave a sneak preview of his spectacular handle at Allen Iverson's
Celebrity Summer Classic a couple of months ago to a stunned stadium. He
hasn't named the trick yet; he simply explains that it's "when I hit people
in the head with the ball," recovers the rock and still scores. How's that
for humiliating offense?

SPRITE STREETBALL DUNK COMPETITION
Y'all
shoulda seen this, but no sweat, because the videos will be up and running
on this site soon. Talk about hair-raising, rim-rockin', highflying roundball
action.
The
stage was really set for the two main contenders - Meme and Edwin.These
two guys have battled it out the two previous competitions, and in
both, Edwin came tops.
I
believe both guys can really perform in any NCAA slamdunk competition
or any dunk competition at all in the states, 'cos they really showed some
class.Two ballers from my court-KROSSHANGA participated but couldn't get
far.But KROSSHANGA ballers were compensated because the winner, Edwin,
started balling in Ghana on our court. Elias -picture above, did not participate

from one side of the rim to the other and slams it down hard with both
hands.

one of Vince Carter's dunks at the 2000 slamdunk competition.

ball through his legs and dunks it with one hand from the side

TOUCH OF CLASS-JUMP OVER A CAR.
This
event took place just before the results were declared by the
judges. Meme wanted to prove to the judges he was the best in the country,
he requested that a car be parked a few inches from the rim. We were not
surprised because Meme's trademark is jumping over saloon cars. The
crowd was elated after the dunk, and most people around felt Meme should
come tops- Meme was really enjoying the moment, and nodding his head in
appreciation. Somehow this triggered a competitive response in Edwin.He
stopped the driver when he was just about leave. He also wanted to
do the same thing- I was shocked, because I know Ed as a baller with some
real hops: but he had never jumped over a car before. Somehow Ed's jump
over the car was more convincing and he did it with more finesse. This
gave those gathered a chance to reconsider their decision. page not available>>>

1 Jumps just after the broken line- a double
takeoff, folds his legs in midair,positions the ball behind-almost a tomahawk,but
with just one hand,and slams down the roundball.

2 Almost
an exact replica of one of Vince Carter's dunks at the
2000 slamdunk competition Jumps- a double takeoff , from the side. His
head is almost horizontal with the rim, and he thrusts the ball into the
hoop,with the inside of his elbow hinged on the rim. Gives himself a couple
of swings on the rim, for some effect.

3 "Half man - Half superman". A gravity
defying jump,never seen in any other part of the world.Ed's trademark jump-
attests to the guys creativity. Dashes towards the rim, jumps from the
broken line-double takeoff. And somehow guys, Ed manages to position his
body almost horizontal to the ground.Hello y'all, the guy was almost horizontal
to the ground, and off course he slammed the baby down.He has always done
this in the last 2 competitions, and it has always left a lasting impression
in the mind of many a Judge.We will conduct an interview in the near future
to find out how he does it." Chill ballers,

WHO IS VINCE LAMAR CARTER?
Carter
averaged 7.5 ppg as a freshman and 13.0 rpg as a sophomore before coming
into his own as a junior. He averaged 15.6 points and 5.1 rebounds per
game and led the ACC with a field goal percentage of .590, including marks
of 18.2 ppg, 5.8 rpg and .590 in the NCAA Tournament. He tallied a season-high
24 points (two shy of his career high, set against Wake Forest as a sophomore)
in the tournament against UNC-Charlotte and netted 21 points in the national
semifinals against Utah, shooting 10-for-16 against the Utes.

This is
for those of you who have still not seen the nike freestyle tape . The
video is just ill . some of the players at the shooting session were Darius
M . of the clippers , Rasheed Wallace , Barron Davis and our man Vince
Lamar Carter . Got to see the crossovers from Vince . His dunks were just
too "invinceble" . Jackie Jackson - an old skool player , believed to be
the first and only man to jump and pick a quarter from the top of a standard
backboard . Naaaah I do not believe this guy either . Must give him the
credit though , he had some pretty neat ground moves . vince can touch
the top of the backboard with both hands , if you doubt this look at the
picture above this text . Neat collaboration between Afrika Bambaata and
the nike crew . Creating hip hop beats with a basketball is not a new idea
